Delete Your Data — Volara Log
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Volara Log is developed by Volara Lab. This page explains how you can delete some or all of your logbook data without deleting your account. (If you want to delete your account entirely, see Delete Your Account instead.)
Option 1 — Delete individual records
Inside the App, open any flight, duty, simulator session, crew member, aircraft, or document record and delete it directly. This removes that record from your device immediately, and from your Google Drive/iCloud backup the next time the App syncs.
Option 2 — Delete all of your data at once
- Open the Volara Log app.
- Open the menu (bottom navigation) and tap Settings.
- Tap Clear All Data.
- Confirm. This wipes every flight, duty, simulator, crew, aircraft, and document record stored on your device, and disconnects Google Drive, iCloud, and Calendar.
This deletes your data immediately. Your account itself (email and account identifier) is not deleted by this action — you stay signed in, and your subscription status is unaffected. To also delete your account, use Delete Your Account.
Option 3 — Request deletion without the App
If you no longer have access to the App, email volaralab@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my data." We will verify the request and confirm by email once it's done.
What gets deleted
- All flight, duty, simulator, crew, aircraft, and document records (including any attached photos) stored on the device where you take this action.
- The corresponding copy in your own Google Drive and/or iCloud backup, the next time the App syncs after your device is wiped — or immediately if you disconnect Drive/iCloud from Settings as part of the same flow.
What is retained, and for how long
- Your account record (email address and internal account identifier) is not deleted by this — it stays so your subscription and sign-in keep working. See Delete Your Account if you want that removed too.
- We do not keep a copy of your logbook data on our side to begin with — Volara Lab does not operate a server or database that stores it (see our Privacy Policy) — so there is no separate retention period on our end once you delete it on your device.
- Data on any other device where you're signed in is not remotely wiped by this — it's removed from that device only when you repeat these steps on it, or when it next syncs after you've deleted the corresponding Drive/iCloud backup.
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data (see our Privacy Policy, Section 6) is collected anonymously, is never linked to your account or device data, and is unaffected by clearing your data on-device. You can stop this data from being collected going forward at any time in Settings → Privacy.
