Delete Your Account — Volara Log
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Volara Log is developed by Volara Lab. This page explains how you can request deletion of your Volara Log account and what happens to your data when you do.
Option 1 — Delete your account in the App (instant)
- Open the Volara Log app and sign in if needed.
- Open the menu (bottom navigation) and tap Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, choose whether to also delete your Google Drive and/or iCloud backup copy, and confirm.
This deletes your account immediately — there is no waiting period.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the App
If you no longer have access to the App or can't sign in, email volaralab@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (email address and internal account identifier) held in our authentication system.
- All flight, duty, simulator, crew, aircraft, and document records stored locally on the device where you request the deletion.
- Your Google Drive and/or iCloud backup copy, if you choose to delete it as part of the in-app flow (Option 1). If you skip this, that backup file remains in your own Google Drive/iCloud account until you delete it yourself or disconnect the App's access to it.
What is retained, and for how long
- We do not retain any copy of your account or logbook data on our side after deletion — Volara Lab does not operate a server or database that stores your logbook data (see our Privacy Policy).
- If you had an active subscription, Google Play or the Apple App Store retains your purchase/transaction history under their own policies — Volara Lab does not control or have access to that record, and deleting your Volara Log account does not cancel a subscription (cancel it separately from your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings).
- Local data stored on any other device where you were signed in (that wasn't used to request the deletion) is not remotely wiped — it is removed from that device the next time it connects and syncs, or when you sign out/uninstall the App on it.
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data (see our Privacy Policy, Section 6) is collected anonymously and was never linked to your account — deleting your account does not affect it, since there was never a link to delete. You can stop this data from being collected going forward at any time in Settings → Privacy, independent of account deletion.
