Delete Your Account — Booknest

Booknest is developed by Volara Lab. This page explains how you can request deletion of your Booknest account and what happens to your data when you do.

Request account deletion

Email volaralab@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account record (email, name, and internal account identifier) held in our authentication system.
• Any shelves you had shared with others and their metadata rows in our shared database — see Section 4 of our Privacy Policy.

What is retained, and for how long

• We do not retain any copy of your library metadata or ebook files on our side after deletion, beyond what was described above — Volara Lab does not operate a server or database that stores your personal library (see our Privacy Policy).
• Your library metadata and ebook files stored locally on your device, and any backup in your own Google Drive or iCloud account, are not automatically deleted by an account deletion request — those are separate from your account record. Use Delete Your Data if you also want those removed.
